Forth Valley Climate Action Hub – Seed grant launch
17 July 2024 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Join online to learn more about seed grants available and how they can help your group deliver its climate actions. Bring your lunch, and more importantly, bring your questions!
This lunchtime online session will provide more information on the work of the climate action hub, including the practical support available to your group, and will run through the grant criteria, and how you can apply for this year’s round of grants. There will time set aside for Q&A.
Run by FEL, the climate action hub for Forth Valley and The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, aims to unite our communities and support their response to climate change.
Seed Grants are one of the ways we support community-led climate action. This year FEL is inviting local groups to apply for between £250 and £1,000 for community-led projects that focus on one or more of the following:
Supporting a shift to a more sustainable and fair future, with a focus on climate justice
The fund will open for applications on 22 July and close on 19 August.
Making the community more aware of climate change and its effects
Building partnerships between community groups and organisations
Helping communities begin to develop their own innovative solutions to climate change
Giving communities a stronger voice in advocating for climate action
