The theme for the Season of Creation 2025 is Peace with Creation. In a world full of conflict and chaos, we are called to be peace-makers who act and pray for change.
The Biblical text has been taken from Isaiah 32.
14 The fortress will be abandoned,
the noisy city deserted;
citadel and watchtower will become a wasteland forever,
the delight of donkeys, a pasture for flocks,
15 till the Spirit is poured on us from on high,
and the desert becomes a fertile field,
and the fertile field seems like a forest.
16 The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert,
his righteousness live in the fertile field.
17 The fruit of that righteousness will be peace;
its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
18 My people will live in peaceful dwelling places,
in secure homes,
in undisturbed places of rest.Isaiah 32:14-18.

The Liturgy Committee have shared a video demonstrating the liturgy for the Season of Creation, which has been approved for experimental use, and requesting feedback. We encourage you to watch the video, provided by the Rev Rosie Addis:
It has been lovely to hear about some of the ways Scottish Episcopal churches are marking the Season of Creation.
To celebrate Climate Sunday, churches in the Brechin diocese will be taking a pilgrimage walk around some the Dundee Community Gardens.
Meanwhile, St John’s Perth are hosting two Tearfund film and discussion evenings and Inverness Cathedral have a celebration service to mark 80 years of Christian Aid’s work tackling injustice.
