We would like to encourage churches to apply for funding through Local Energy Scotland’s CARES Community Buildings Fund, which is available until the end of October.
This scheme is a vital source of funding that can help churches move towards renewables and reduce their carbon footprint.
Charities, community groups and faith groups are all eligible and funds can be used for the installation of renewable technologies like heat pumps, battery storage, and solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, as well as some energy efficiency measures.

If you are part of a church that is involved in its local community, has a building used during the week and is committed to moving towards renewables, don’t miss out on this fantastic funding opportunity.
