New provincial funding open to applications

The Rectory Green Fund is now available for applications and the new forms can be found on the SEC website here. The Building Grants Fund and Buildings Loans Fund have revised application forms, which should be used for any future applications.

Building grants and loans are available to assist in funding the costs of non-routine maintenance, development and acquisition of church properties.  Funding is also available to assist in improving the energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of church buildings.  Further details regarding the operation of the Building Grants Fund, the Building Loans Fund and the Rectory Green Fund can be found in the Guidance Notes which should be read prior to submitting an application.  All applications for provincial building grants and loans must be subject to Diocesan review and must also be reviewed by a member of the Provincial Net Zero Team prior to submission.

Please note that the Provincial funding is to help with funding projects but other funds will more than often be required for larger projects. It is advised that you contact the Net Zero Team for guidance on the latest available external funding to help you fund your project.

There are different application forms for work to church buildings and work to rectories.  Both forms are available in two formats – a Word fillable form and PDF fillable form.
